Annual PSA: Vendors are Booking Weeks in Advance

Annual PSA: this is the time of year when contractors, repair professionals, and landscaping crews - really, anyone who works on houses - are booked out weeks (some are months) in advance. This includes the photographers and cleaners that are critical parts of the pre-listing preparation. 

What this means for you if you are thinking to sell or are casually browsing new listings:

- consult with your local real estate professional (in Northwest WA, that's us!) for advice on what's most important to inspect further, fix, maintain or freshen up before your house will be dialed in for the market. 

- take that punch list and prioritize the most important + the easiest tasks, so that in case you find the perfect new place, you'll have the critical work done

- know that even with a dialed-in house, it can easily take 2-3 weeks to schedule cleaning & the photo/video/3D tour appointments, plus determining the price to position your home strategically.
