CGNW Recommends: Woods Coffee
It’s an iconic Whatcom County chain, and its strong Pacific Northwest roots are communicated in the distinct branding carried through each store’s design - stainless steel countertops, wood paneling and live edge tables, industrial lighting and bolts.
The Regal Cinemas branch is a favorite place for the loan officers and real estate agents of Barkley Village to meet, but all around the county, the Cohen Group has stopped by a Woods for swapping stories with colleagues, sharing a coffee with a potential client, or plopping down with a laptop for an afternoon. The Boulevard Park location is the perfect stop for a cold drink on a summer afternoon, or for a decaf coffee before walking the boardwalk and watching the most beautiful sunsets in the area.
I (Tiffany here) was trying to describe how I feel about the Woods brand and why I enjoy the ambiance so much. I’ve described the Bakerview location (my personal favorite) as my “home office” and I realized: Woods Coffee is essentially an extension of the living rooms and offices of Whatcom County.
“There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing people living life in our stores.” - Wes Herman, Founder & CEO
