Cohen Group NW: Giving Back

Here at the Cohen Group NW, we believe in giving back to our community - both locally and globally. Water is something each of us needs so desperately, yet so many go without. 

633 million people worldwide are living without access to safe water. Treks to distant sources sometimes takes hours, pulling people away from education and economic opportunities. Unsafe water poses serious health risks for all ages.

We want to do our part to help.

For every home we sell, we donate a portion of our commission to charity:water. This non-profit organization has funded and coordinated over 40,000 water projects in 27 countries. These projects don't stop at one-time clean water pump installations in a community - as crucial as that is. Charity:water uses sensors and cloud technology to continuously monitor water quality, flow, and usage.

We also sponsor a monthly Clean Water Happy Hour, in partnership with Overflow Taps, which donates a portion of every pint sold. The fourth Saturday of each month, we pay for everyone’s first drink - whether you see our Facebook event, read about it here, or just happen to be at Overflow that day between noon and 3: your first drink’s on us!  

It’s a chance to have a pint with friends, family, neighbors, business partners, and community members. We also do a few giveaways each month, sponsored by local businesses - potted plants, snack baskets, coffee cards - you never know what you might walk away with!
