Welcome to a celebration of life in the PNW!
Small businesses - founded here, grown here - are a crucial part of what makes our community the wonderful and unique place it is. Over the last year, small business owners have shown incredible resilience, creativity and moxie in the face of challenge.
So as you’re celebrating the love you have for your special someone, consider supporting the artisans, bakers, cooks and jewelers of our very own PNW community.

We know dining out is a little tricky (and sometimes chilly) these days, so we’ve picked a pasta place with heat lamps and patio seating, an open-air option, plus a charcuterie supplier for your very own picnic at home!
Our goodies section includes wine pairing recommendations from a local expert, plus three mead selections from our local award-winning mead maker. And it wouldn’t be Valentine’s without plenty of chocolate options! Page through the dessert options, from cocoa bombs to specialty cakes.
What to do on the weekend, though? We’ve got you covered there too. From a Fairhaven adventure itinerary to where to purchase take-home cardmaking kits; from pottery painting to a ‘tart’ exploration of Bellingham’s colorful history, we’ve curated a list of great activities and experiences.
And that isn’t all of it either. But for the rest, you’ll have to check out the Guide to Valentine’s Day in the PNW.
