Today is Wednesday and that means it’s time for this week’s market update. Last week in Whatcom County, we saw 65 new homes come up for sale, and 70 homes went under contract. 

January’s numbers are in, and here’s the scoop: days-on-market remains tight (well-priced homes sell quickly), median prices for the residential market are way up compared to January of last year, and we need more homes to sell to keep up with demand.
