The Clean Water Happy Hour (what it is and why it's called that)

So yes, we’re one of the many real estate brokerages that can help you find a home in Bellingham…

but what about after that?

Making friends?

Finding community?

Knowing where to go for dinner or what cool spot to visit?

Well, we might not be able to make friends *for* you, but we *can* provide a spot for you to come hang out and get to know with some great people and maybe even win a gift card to a local hotspot.

It’s the Clean Water Happy Hour, and we host it 8 times a year at the Overflow Taps in Barkley Village.

THE CLEAN WATER HAPPY HOUR

Why the name? For several years, our team made a donation for every home sold to charity:water, a phenomenal organization that provides clean drinking water around the world. The happy hour was a celebratory "thank you" to those who supported our team and also a way to partner with Overflow about clean water efforts around the world. The motto was “drink local, think global”.

We still make a quarterly donation each year to charity:water, but both our donations and our event have broadened to include more emphasis on impacting our Bellingham community.

WHAT TO EXPECT

At each happy hour, you’ll hear an under-5-minute update on our local business podcast or something cool from our community platform. 

Then we give away stuff—local merch, locally-made soaps or hot sauces, and a crowd favorite: our Bellingham passports with local gift cards tucked inside.

The rest of the time, we’re enjoying drinks (by the way, your first drink is on us, thanks to a rotating group of local sponsors!) and hanging out.
