COMING SOON: Nomad Charcuterie & Wine
Frances and Brian moves from North Carolina to the PNW recently and are working with Chuckanut Builders to build out their space in the Flatiron Building. They dropped a sneak peek of the interior on Instagram and rumor has it they’ll be opening the first week of March! | Instagram
OPENING: JoJoe’s Doughnuts
JoJoe’s opened towards the end of December and has quickly become a Bellingham favorite! Our team swung by there for the first time last week (here’s Taylor’s reel about the experience). They offer vegan and gluten-free options, and the menu changes daily. Instagram | Website
OPENING: V Go’s
This long awaited vegan convenience and grocery story opened this past weekend! They have all-vegan fresh and frozen groceries as well as meals from the Sage Against the Machine menu. Instagram | Website
CLOSING: Black Drop
The Black Drop Coffeehouse said farewell last week. They’ve had a series of reflection posts over the last couple of weeks that we recommend scrolling through. John and Steph, thank you for creating a space for community these many years.
ANNIVERSARY: Overflow Taps
Congratulations to Overflow Taps on 6 years in business! From opening the first-ever taphouse in Lynden to surviving these last two years, you’ve shown grit, resilience and fortitude - and created a space that supports community both locally & globally. Co-owner Jesse Nelson was the very first Building Bellingham guest, and so you can hear the Overflow story right here. Website | Instagram
