CGNW Recommends: MyTrafficMan.net
Real estate agents are on a road - a lot. And with back-to-back appointments and showings on the regular, members of our industry tend to have a lead foot on the gas pedal (we’re not the only ones, right?). Sometimes the tickets that we pile up are deserved; sometimes we might want to fight them.
That’s where MyTrafficMan.net comes in, for us and for thousands of others who’ve received traffic violations in Washington State. Currently you can snap a photo of a ticket and send it directly to the legal team through the MyTrafficMan infraction app. If the ticket can be waived or lessened, the legal fee is probably a lot less than the pricey effect the ticket will have on your car insurance for the next three years.
The founder of MyTrafficMan.net, Ziad Youssef, was our guest on this month’s episode of Building Bellingham, and he explained to Leo that his business is so much more than just fighting traffic tickets and working on DUI cases. He has a vision for offering not just legal advice but legal care. While his staff works on specific cases, Ziad is watching the larger trends and working on changing the social and legal landscape of how this business is done.
As on example, he’s working with one of the largest legal document management software companies to use AI to scan through pages and pages of legal records, looking for specific legal issues and flag them for paralegals and lawyers to review. Cutting down significantly on the amount of time it takes to process a simple traffic case, also cutting down billable hours to the client. As Ziad said in his recent interview with Leo, it would “increase access to justice, because each lawyer can do more for less.”
